I will be staying at Wilderness Campground and have booked a Cinderella s Dinner @ the Grand Floridian at 7:50pm, about how long will it take to get there using disneys transportation system?

The boat ride from the Fort Wilderness pier to The Contemporary takes only 10 minutes, but keep in mind that if you miss the boat, you could be waiting for about 20 minutes for the next one.  Once you arrive at the Contemporary's pier, it will take a good 5 to 8 minutes to walk from its pier to the inside of the Contemporary and catch the escalator up to the monorail. And I can't tell you how many times I've gone, but the hotel lobby is a maze to me!

The ride on the monorail will be about 10 minutes from The Contemporary to The Grand Floridian but you could wait for a car for up to 10 to 15 minutes.

So, all total, the shortest amount of time it will take is 25 minutes, but I'd allow yourself 45 minutes as you never know if you'll have to wait on the boat or monorail.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
