We are staying at Ft. Wilderness Cabins Oct 5-10 and might want to eat breakfast at Trail's End on a few mornings. Do you think it is necessary to make reservations?

I've been researching this answer. It seems that many guests are able to walk up and dine at Trail's End without an Advance Dining Reservation.

However, I would recommend making an ADR if you know the day and time that you'd like to dine there. This avoids disappointment. You can always cancel the ADR if you decide to sleep in!
