    We are staying at the Ft. Wilderness Cabins in late May. Is there still a boat that runs from Ft. Wilderness to Wilderness Lodge and back? Tim H.

    Hey there, Tim! Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so happy to see you back here with another great planning question.

    In just weeks, you'll be arriving at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to begin your most magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. How exciting! With its serene setting, fabulous and spacious Cabins, oh-so-fun recreational activities, fantastic dining options and location within a short, scenic boat ride of Magic Kingdom Park, Fort Wilderness is the perfect, peaceful home away from home right in the middle of the magic. Now, let's chat about transportation!

    Unfortunately, the watercraft route connecting Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Disney's Wilderness Lodge is currently unavailable. However, this watercraft route could return at any time, so I recommend checking with a Cast Member when you arrive at your Resort to be sure. If this route is still unavailable during your stay, you can take a boat from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop a watercraft over to Wilderness Lodge from there. Bon voyage!

    Speaking of transportation, since your Resort is so vast with so much to do, I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to get around. If you haven't already made your Advance Reservation for a golf cart, I recommend doing so by calling (407) 824-2742. Happy exploring!
