I am staying at Westgate Vacation Villas at the end of June. They only have transportation to the parks and not the other resorts or downtown disney. If we get shuttled to MK, what resorts can we get to? and is there an easy way to downtown?

Hi Angel! Going from resort to resort can be challenging even for Disney resort guests as there are no direct buses. You must transfer at the parks or Downtown Disney.

You can visit quite a few resorts if you travel to the Magic Kingdom. You will most likely be dropped off at the Transportation and Ticket Center where you can hop on the RESORT monorail. This goes in a loop where you can get off at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and the Contemporary resorts. In front of the Magic Kingdom entrance gates you can also catch a boat to go and visit the Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness campground. Although Disney transportation is for resort guests many day guests will also take time and use it to visit other locations. You could easily hop on a Downtown Disney bus at any resort to go visit there and back again. You can also find taxis at all resorts which is the fastest and easiest way to reach all destinations on property.
