We'll be staying 10/22-10/27. We'ill be attending MNSSHP Tues night. I want to avoid my 5y/o being exhausted before the party,so I am looking for other activites on/ around the resorts to participate in during that day other than a theme park. Suggestions?

    Hey Natasha!

My family just returned from an amazing trip to Disney World where we were lucky enough to spend an evening partying with Mickey!

It's a great idea to keep the morning low key so that everyone has the energy to make it through the evening. We spent the first part of our day puttering around the Resort and Disney's Boardwalk.

When you check into your Disney Resort the Cast Member will hand you a packet of information. One piece will be 'Recreation Activities' for that month in your Resort.  Our Resort had fun stuff like dancing with the lifeguards at the pool, water volleyball, bingo, frozen t-shirt relay, treasure cruise, make your own ice cream, dance parties, pool parties, air guitar contests and the list keeps going!

The Disney Resorts always have just enough going on to keep the kids interested without overwhelming; which will insure everyone is all wide eyed and ready for the evening fun!

I hope that you have a wonderful time in Disney World!
