We are staying a week with you to enjoy a Parade in The Magic Kingdom on March 27 at 6:00 of our granddaughter's high school band. We have no clue about booking parks, etc., is there a live person that can help us? We are not savvay with the computer

    Hi Lynne,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!

How exciting for your granddaughter, congratulations to her for being a part of the pre-parade at Magic Kingdom Park! I’m sure she’ll be thrilled to see your smiling faces as she marches.

Yes, there are a few help desks where you can speak to Cast Members about booking your reservations. If you haven’t already booked your Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Time, you can reach out to the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations team. It sounds like you might already have your accommodations covered, so the other Cast Members you can call are at the New Tickets help desk. They will be able to help you purchase your tickets over the phone.

Here are a few things you’ll want to tell the Cast Member when you speak with them to purchase your tickets:

    1) How many days you’d like to be in the Theme Parks
    2) If you’d like to purchase Disney Genie+ in addition to your Theme Park Tickets
    3) Which Theme Parks you’d like to visit and on what days so they can book your Disney Park Pass reservations

Now, I know you said you aren’t tech savvy, but if you have a smart phone, you can download the My Disney Experience mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. If you create a My Disney Experience account (by using your email and a password), you’ll be able to access your Theme Park tickets, use Theme Park maps, and see attraction wait times all digitally! If you download and sign into the My Disney Experience mobile app before you call, the Cast Members will easily be able to link your Theme Park tickets to your mobile app. If you need help navigating the mobile app, you can always call the My Disney Experience and MagicBands help desk as well.

If you don’t want to use the My Disney Experience mobile app, Hakuna Matata. After the Cast Members help you purchase your tickets and make your Disney Park Pass reservations over the phone, you’ll want to ask if they can send you your tickets by mail. If they can’t, you’ll want to keep your confirmation number for the tickets, and you can redeem physical tickets at any Guest Services location!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare to visit the Walt Disney World Resort and cheer on your granddaughter. In the meantime, if you have any other planning or vacation questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
