Staying for a week in April, the first week, I’m wondering if harmony barbershop will be open by then? Would love to get my daughters first hair cut then

    Hi Tracie!

I'm excited to hear that you are getting ready for a trip to Walt Disney World Resort. My family just got back from a quick trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" and trust me...you are going to have a fantastic vacation enjoying the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! It's so much fun to join the anniversary festivities at each of the theme parks and my favorite part is enjoying all of the tasty EARidescent treats that the Disney Chefs have created just for the party.

Harmony Barber Shop has become a special part of so many family traditions. I love seeing little Mouseketeers get their very first haircuts during a visit to Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, Harmony Barber Shop is temporarily unavailable and we don't know the timeline for its return. I recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements because that's the best place to get news about returning experiences. I'm sending pixie dust your way in hopes that we hear about the return of Harmony Barber Shop in time for your April vacation so your daughter can have her first haircut during your trip!

Be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers during your visit because they are the perfect place to take care of your little princess's needs. When my boys were little, the Baby Care Centers were lifesavers because they gave us a peaceful, quiet place for diaper changes, snacks or simply a little rest from the excitement of the day.

Feel free to come back to see us as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
