We are staying for our 30th wedding anniversary and doing a split stay between POR and The Poly. Our grand children will be staying the whole time at POR with their parents. Will the children be able to visit us at the pool at the Poly one day?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Roslyn! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question! I'm super excited to help you out today.

Before we begin, I want to congratulate you both wholeheartedly! Being married for 30 years is quite an accomplishment, and I'm so happy to hear that you are planning on celebrating at the Most Magical Place on Earth. On top of that, I also love the fact that you're bringing your whole family with you! I can already tell that this is shaping up to be your favorite vacation ever.

Unfortunately, I have to let you know that pool-hopping is not permitted at Disney Resorts Collection hotels at this time. You and your family will be able to enjoy your time together at the Disney's Port Orleans Resort pools while you're all registered Guests at that particular Resort, but your grandchildren will not be able to access the pool areas at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort if they're not staying with you.

That being said, your loving children and grandchildren will absolutely be able to enjoy other areas of the Polynesian to continue the celebration with you! In fact, I recommend that you make breakfast reservations at 'Ohana one morning before heading to the Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks. There's no better place to celebrate family bonding! You could also take a break from your Magic Kingdom Park days with a delicious Dole Whip float at Pineapple Lanai, or with a yummy drink at Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace. This is by far one of my favorite Disney Resorts to explore, so I'm sure that your family will love it too!

Again, Roslyn, congratulations on your anniversary. Don't forget to stop by Guest Relations or your Resort's Front Desk to pick up your complimentary celebration buttons! If you have any other questions before your magical vacation, please don't hesitate to come back and ask me. I'm always happy to help!

    See you real soon,
