    Hi, I am staying at WDW for Xmas and booked the new "Arts & Ani" standard room. My son is Autistic and likes to go to the shop alone but the distance from our section seems far. Any sugestions on how to get closer? There is no preferred roo

    Thanks for writing.  If you are looking for a room in a particular section (closer to the gift shop, for example) I would request this when you make your reservation, again when you do your online check-in, and finally, when you arrive at the resort to pick up your welcome packet.  In my experience, cast members at the front desk are incredibly helpful, and if there is any way they can accommodate your request, they will attempt to do so.  I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
