We are going to be staying at WDW the week of December 27th thru January 2nd. I am having trouble deciding what to pack for proper attire that week.

Hello Chrystal! Thanks so much for your question. The holiday season is my favorite time of year to visit Walt Disney World. Not only are the Christmas decorations festive, but the weather is fantastic! As a native Floridian I can tell you that Florida winters are generally mild with highs in the 70's and lows in the 50's. When I visited last December it got pretty chilly in the evenings, so make sure to pack a jacket if you plan to be out and about once the sun goes down. I also suggest wearing layers so that you can add or take off layers depending on the temperature. Make sure you pack comfortable shoes and a poncho. Even though December has the lowest rainfall, you still want to be able to enjoy the water rides without being uncomfortable. One of my favorite attractions is Splash Mountain, and no amount of cold weather can keep me from being thrown into Briar Patch. I wore a poncho so that I could stay dry in the cold weather.

I hope this is helpful, and if you need anything else, please let us know and we'd be happy to help. Have a magical holiday Walt Disney World vacation!
