We are staying at WDW from 1/3/11-1/10/11. I have tried booking reservations for dinner tonight and cannot get any we want. We want to purchase dining package but don't see how this will work. What is the best way to obtain these reservatons, tried onlin

    Hi Carl,

Since your arrival at Walt Disney World is only two days away, I recommend calling (407) WDW-DINE as soon as possible.  When you have the cast member on the line, he or she can tell you what is still available during the days you will be on vacation. The willingness to take reservations at off-peak dining hours will definitely help.  (For instance, a 2 pm lunch reservation will get snatched up less quickly than a noon lunch reservation.)  If you cannot find table service restaurants at the times you desire, you may want to consider Disney's quick service dining plan.  Quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World are plentiful and do not require reservations.   Yet another alternative is to forgo any dining plan and simply pay out-of-pocket for your meals.  That way you will be under less pressure to find seven participating table service restaurants during the course of your stay.

Whatever you choose, enjoy your stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
