Ahoy, Jennifer!
A Land and Sea vacation is the best! Sounds like you're making it even more fun - a Land, Sea and Land again!
The night before your cruise, a letter will be delivered to your room with details regarding your Disney Cruise Line ground transfers. The Bell Service Team at your resort will begin luggage pickup around 8:00a.m. on the morning of your sailing. (Your bags will be picked up at your resort room.) Remember to pack a day bag to carry with you that includes your photo I.D., cruise documents and any medications you need to have on hand.
Bus pickup times are dictated by the number of cruisers leaving from each resort, and times will vary. Our meeting time for pickup for our last cruise was at 10:45a.m., and our motorcoach stopped to pick up guests from two other resorts before heading out to Port Canaveral. We arrived in plenty of time to check-in, board the ship, grab lunch and explore for a bit before setting sail.
On the last morning of the cruise, you'll be assigned to eat breakfast at the same restaurant where you dined the night before. Guests with early seating will eat at 6:45a.m., and late seating guests eat at 8:00a.m. After breakfast, you'll disembark (and possibly shed a tear or two - I always do!) and head through customs. (My advice: Use the porters, they're a big help in navigating the terminal - and don't forget to tip!) Once through customs, follow the signs to the Disney motorcoaches and you're on your way back to the Walt Disney World Resort! You'll probably arrive around noon, with plenty of time to play in the parks. (Don't miss the new
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - it's awesome!)
What a fun vacation you have planned - from Cinderella Castle to sand castles, and back again. I hope you have the trip of a lifetime, and make many magical memories! - Diane W.
