We're staying at a WDW resort from July 30th. We want to make ADRs (+CDR). Do we phone 180 days ahead of the day we want to dine on (ie phone several times each 180 days ahead of when we want to eat) or do we make all the ADRs 180 days ahead of our stay?

    Paul:

Thanks for coming to the Moms Panel!

The good thing is that you DON'T have to keep calling back and forth for every dining reservation IF you're staying on Disney property. Once you hit your 180-day out mark from the day of check-in, you can make all of your dining reservations, up to 190 days out.

For example, let's say you want to eat at Whispering Canyon Cafe the first day you're at Disney and Nine Dragons on the third day of your visit.  You can make reservations at both restaurants, even though, technically, Nine Dragons is 183 days away.

If you had not been staying on Disney property and did not have a Disney room reservation to which you to link your dining reservations, the earliest you could have booked each dining reservation is 180 days out.  And yes, you would have been on the phone for each dining reservation if you wanted to book on the earliest day you could.

Glad you'll get to enjoy just one of the perks of staying on property! Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
