I am staying at a WDW resort hotel, but plan on going to Magic Kingdom park that morning, before check-in. How can I check in and utilize the transportation services if Check-in isn't until later in the day?

Hello Kaylin! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Whenever you plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, it is important to know that while the magic begins on the day you Check-In to your Resort Hotel, you do not have to wait for your Resort Hotel room to start making magical memories.

When you use the Online Resort Check-In Service up to 60 days in advance of your vacation, you are not required to visit your Resort Hotel before you use Resort Transportation or access the Theme Parks with any Admission Passes linked to your MagicBand through your My Disney Experience Account. In fact, when you complete the Online Resort Check-In Service you can request that you receive a text notification when your Resort Hotel Room to bypass the Front Desk completely.

Resort Transportation is complimentary to all Guests, regardless of whether they are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel.

My family will often arrive at the Resort Hotel, check our luggage with Bell Services and hop onto a bus for the closest Theme Park all before we bother to Check-In with Guest Services. Since we often arrive very early in the morning at Orlando International Airport, this tactic allows us to experience a magical day before we even enter our Resort Hotel Room after our trip on Disney's Magical Express.

    Have a Magical First Day!
