We will be staying at a WDW resort during our visit next week. We are driving in and intend to park our car. During one day of our stay we will have to leave WDW to visit friends who are in Orlando - is there anything we need to know to re-enter WDW?

    Hi, Fred!

You are welcome to come and go as you please from Disney property.  You will be given a parking pass for you dashboard which identifies you as a Disney Resort Guest so you can park at your resort and also park at the theme parks for free.  You will need this pass along with your resort ID when you return to your resort after your day of travels.

Have fun at Walt Disney World and wishing you a pleasant visit with your Orlando friends!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
