Hey, hey, hey, Gabrielle!
You won’t have to pay for
parking when you drive to another
Disney resort for a breakfast reservation. Disney allows guests with a confirmed
dining reservation to park at that resort for free during their meal time. When you arrive at the gate, you’ll just show your ID and give the Cast Member your name so they can confirm your reservation. Once they see it, they’ll direct you to the appropriate parking area, and you’ll be all set.
One thing to keep in mind is that parking at certain resorts, especially the
monorail resorts like the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, and Contemporary, can fill up more quickly because they are so close to
Magic Kingdom. The security cast members will only allow parking for the length of your dining reservation, usually around two to three hours. After that time window, you’re expected to move your car to a theme park lot or back to your resort.
If you plan to enjoy breakfast and then head to a park, it’s usually easier to leave your car at your own resort and use Disney transportation after your meal. But if you're just there to eat and explore the grounds a little before heading back, driving over is completely fine.
So feel free to enjoy that breakfast without worrying about parking fees. As long as you have that confirmed reservation, you’re good to go.
Enjoy your breakfast, Gabrielle! If you need more help with your planning, stop by and see us again.
Toodles,
Korliss
