We'll be staying at WDW Fort Wilderness next month: 1) Can I reserve a golf cart online before our stay? 2) We will be celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary, what restaurant would you recommend?

    Hi Shaun,

Congratulations on your wedding anniversary! You have chosen the perfect place to celebrate.  Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort is amazing! I am happy to hear that you are thinking of renting a golf cart. The best part of having the golf cart is that you cruise around and see many of the wildlife around the resort. During my recent trip, we saw a baby deer and it was simply precious. You can also access areas that are restricted to golf carts only. At this time you cannot reserve the golf cart online, however, you can reserve it by calling 1 (407) 824-2742.

Now moving on to the celebration part! For our past anniversary, my husband and I dined at the California Grill, which is located in Disney’s Contemporary Resort and is very close to your resort. The nice feature of this restaurant are the views of Magic Kingdom. If you choose to have dinner here, you will be able to enjoy Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks show. I say show because they will dim the lights and play the music and sounds that accompany the fireworks. The observation deck right outside of the restaurant is one of the best places to see the fireworks display and can be quite romantic.

Another recommendation is Victoria & Albert’s Restaurant located in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort. This award winning restaurant is classy, elegant and delicious! I highly recommend that you peruse their website and check out the gallery. Here is the website: Victoria & Albert’s.

It has been a pleasure assisting you Shaun!
