Hi we are staying at wdw in 9/14 & it will be my dh first visit. I want to make it the best trip since he's never been there & thinks disney is just an amusement park. I read about renting a pontoon boat to view the fireworks. Do you have any info

    Hi Laura!
I think it's great that you want to roll out the red carpet for your husband's first visit!! Good for you!
Calling Walt Disney World and "amusement park" is like calling the Mona Lisa just a doodle. LOL!
I HIGHLY recommend the specialty fireworks cruise (the pontoon boat that you mention). I did this as a surprise for my girls last Thanksgiving and they loved it.
You cannot rent one to drive on your own, though. They do come with a captain and light refreshments on board. You will typically leave the marina behind the Contemporary Resort and the captain will cruise you around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon prior to the fireworks. You will then be parked front and center in front of the Magic Kingdom for Wishes! It is awesome. I have attached a link with some additional information below:

I hope this helps and I wish you and your husband a Magical trip!! :)
