We are staying in WDW a few days then need to travel to Port Canaveral for a cruise. We have 4 adults and 6 kids in our group. How would you suggest we get from our resort to the port in the most cost-effective way? Thanks!!!!!!

    Hi Kris,

I think it's pretty awesome that you're spending a few days at Walt Disney World before your cruise.  Sounds like my idea of a perfect vacation.  That's a pretty big travel party you've got there!  I can totally understand the desire to save wherever you can.

Disney Cruise Line has ground transportation to Port Canaveral from Disney resorts, but looking for limo and car services may be more cost efficient for you.  There are many good services available in the Orlando area.  Because of the size of your party, this may be a more convenient, comfortable (& faster) way to travel.   I've never had to personally use a car service to get to Port Canaveral, but I have heard that Happy Limo is excellent.  You can also go to allears.net and mousesavers.com to check out other services and recommendations.

I hope this helps...Have a magical sailing and please let me know if you have any other questions.  I'm happy to help.
