    We will be staying at WDW camping cabins this October. If we want to go to the parks on the day of our check out, where do we park our car? If we move it to the Outpost parking, is that within walking distance to catch the buses or MK ferry?

    Howdy, Nancy!

    Congratulations on your upcoming stay at the Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. My family and I stayed there a few years ago and I loved that they were a little more private, the lush forest around us and how many activities the resort hosts. Staying there was like a vacation within a vacation!

    I am happy to tell you that yes, there are plenty of transportation options from the Outpost Depot parking lot. Walt Disney World Bus Service is available to EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom or Disney Springs. You can also take the internal shuttle to Settlement Depot in order to take a water taxi over to Magic Kingdom Park. 

    October is a great time to visit the campgrounds as many of the Guests decorate their campsites. We like to rent a golf cart and take a drive through the sites to pick out our favorites!
