Staying at WDW April 2015. All rooms set aside for the spring discount are booked. Is it customary for there to be more rooms to open up and be eligible for the discount at a later date?

    Hi Tyler,

Congrats on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. April is just around the corner so I'm sure you are getting excited! Like you, I love getting a good deal whenever I can and Walt Disney World is no exception.

While I don't have exact details for the available number of discounted rooms, I can tell you to keep checking back for discounted rates. You never know when someone else will cancel a reservation or when Walt Disney World Resort will release a new promotion.

Be on the lookout for new Special Offers on the Walt Disney World website and you might see something that works for you.

Recently, I was hoping to add a couple nights to my existing reservation and as I was checking availability on the website, I found that I could upgrade my entire stay from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside at the discounted rate just weeks before our trip. Those dates were not available when I had looked before so I was thrilled! I know it doesn't always happen that way, but my story is why I want to encourage you to keep trying.

Good luck in your search for a great deal. I hope you have a wonderful vacation and if you have any other questions, please let me know.

    Happy Planning!
