    Hi! I am staying at the WDW All-Star Movies Resort in January and will be relying on Disney transportation to get to/from the parks. What is the average travel time in mid-January from the resort to the parks? Will there be transfers? I'm a planner! :)

    Hi, Sara! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Most of us Disney Parks Moms Panelists are planners, too! You are among great company! You must be so excited for your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort and Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort! I was pleasantly surprised with this adorable Disney Resort hotel! My friend and I had a lot of fun going around and taking photos with all the statues! You really are immersed in Disney magic throughout your entire vacation!
    Travel time using Disney’s Complimentary Resort Transportation might vary from trip to trip but generally, once aboard the bus, it should take 20-25 minutes for you to reach a Disney Theme Park or Disney Springs. Keep in mind, that you may have to wait up to 20 minutes for a bus to arrive, and sometimes, these buses can be full and you might have to wait for the next one. During busy times, Disney deploys more buses so if a bus is full, it shouldn’t be a full 20 minutes for the next to arrive. In terms of transfers, sometimes when visiting a Disney Water Park, a transfer may be required, but otherwise, it is a direct trip (subject to change). If you’re looking at getting around on your own terms, you may be interested in a car rental. Alternatively, I have started to use Uber a lot during my travels to maximize my time in the Disney Theme Parks!
