We are staying at WDW 8/19-8/26. ADR at Crystal Palace at 8:25 on 8/24. Will we be able to use the Disney Transportation. I see Busses start running at 8 as the park opens at 9. There are 7 of us 4Adults 3Child (4, 2, and 1) Alternatives for all 7 of us

Hi, Michelle! I love early morning ADRs in the parks before they open. One of the biggest benefits is getting pictures of your family on Main Street and in front of the castle before anyone else arrives and stands in your shot. (How dare they, right?!)

If you went the Disney Transportation bus route, there's a chance you'd make it to the Magic Kingdom and Crystal Palace on time. You'd be hustling from the bus drop off area all the way to the Crystal Palace though. You'd be sweaty and tired, and I, for one, wouldn't want to work off breakfast before I even had the chance to sit down for it.

I'd recommend grabbing a taxi van from your resort. I believe up to eight people can ride in one. It may sound expensive, but it really isn't. The taxi vans are pretty much the same cost as a regular taxi. One fare will pay for everyone. It'll likely cost you $15 total. I think that's well worth it for (1) the speed of travel, (2) the peace of mind and (3) getting to the park a little before your ADR so you can get some priceless photos.
