Welcome Back to the Moms Panel! The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge are beautiful! What a fantastic resort to spend a vacation.
For your shorter runs, I suggest the trail between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground. This 2.5 mile trail will have you running on the most shaded path in Walt Disney World® Resort. Not to mention all the wildlife you could encounter along this nature-filled trail. I was taken aback when I ran this trail last summer and came upon three deer strolling through the woods.
For your longer runs, I suggest the Epcot® Resort Area. By combining the loop around Crescent Lake, the out-and-back trail to Hollywood Studios®, the path along Buena Vista Drive and Epcot Resorts Blvd. and then repeating, your mileage should come very, very close to that 10-mile mark you desire. This is my favorite running path. I love catching glimpses of Epcot, hearing the friendly toots of the Friendship Boats, and I love the challenging inclines at the Swan & Dolphin bridge and along Epcot Resort Blvd. as you power up the incline that takes you under the International Gateway Canal. There are a plethora of options for
running trails around the Walt Disney World® Resort. Don't forget to ask the front desk for the most current running trail map when you check in.
