We are staying at the Villa's at the Wilderness Lodge this October. How far will we have to travel to the restraunt at the resort? Do you have any advise regarging Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party? Our son is 6 and daughter is 1.

    Hi Carl,

The Villas are right next door to Wilderness Lodge.  You are within close walking distance.   The restaurants in the hotel are terrific!  Try to get to Artist Point.  That's my husband's absolute favorite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World.  It really is excellent.

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is tremendous fun for all ages.  Your daughter is little, but will be mesmerized by all of the lights, colors and characters.  Your son will have the time of his life.  My best piece of advice regarding this event is not to put them in costumes that will cover their faces.  Although there is a lot of lighting, it gets crowded and many areas are dark.  Oh, and make sure the adults get trick or treat bags too....everyone is encouraged to get their candy!

Have a great time at Disney!  Please visit us at the Moms Panel if you have any other questions.

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
