We will be staying at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge in a couple of weeks(Feb08). Are there certain rooms to request with better views and good locations to the pools, etc.? The resort maps Ive found aren't very helpful. Thank you! Sheryl from MA.

Hi Sheryl,

The Wilderness Lodge Villas are actually located in the Magic Kingdom Resort area, adjacent to the Wilderness Lodge. The Wilderness Lodge Villas have their own quiet pool, which doesn't have a slide and is fairly small but does feature some "bubbling type" geyser jets. All transportation from The Wilderness Lodge Villas is via the main Wilderness Lodge system, so in my opinion, I would ask for a location fairly close to the pool and bus stops. There are no restaurants located at the villas, which is why being fairly close to the transportation system will cut down on travel time to and from the main building at The Wilderness Lodge (as well as travel to and from the Parks/Resorts from this main area!).
