We are staying at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge, but have ADRs at Trail’s End at the Wilderness Campground. Is there a walking trial between the Lodge and the Campground, or does a boat run between the two? Thanks, I appreciate all the great info!

    Hi Jeff,

I am so glad that you are finding the Disney Parks Moms Panel to be helpful with your vacation planning.  We love helping guests to plan magical vacations!  I think that Trail's End Restaurant is truly one of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World dining.  I love the relaxing setting of the Settlement area at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and I think that the food is delicious.

You are in luck; there are multiple ways to get between Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  First, there is a boat that runs between the two resorts.  Conveniently for your plans, the marina at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is at the Settlement area, so you will be very close to Trail's End Restaurant when you leave the boat.  There are also walking trails between the two resorts.  I suggest that you stop and ask a cast member in the lobby of Disney's Wilderness Lodge for specific information on where to find these paths if you choose to walk.  There also may be buses running between Disney's Wilderness Lodge and the Settlement area of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground; however, unless it is raining, I think that a boat ride or walk would be a lovely way to get from one resort to the other.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jeff!  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
