We are staying at the Villas at Disneyland Hotel this spring in a room with a kitchen. Are there bbq grills for guest use on the property? Are they gas or charcoal? Do we need to bring our own bbq tools and/or charcoal?

    Hey there, hi there, Angela!

"You're as welcome as can be!" And if you happen to be a Disney Vacation Club member, I hope you enjoy a pleasant "welcome home" to your home away from the Beehive State at The Villas at Disneyland Hotel. Even if you aren't yet a member, you're sure to feel just as comfortable enjoying the amenities of the stunning Discovery Tower at the Disneyland Hotel.

Guests of the Discovery Tower, whether staying on property using Disney Vacation Club points or as non-member hotel Guests, may take advantage of the barbecue grills that are located just outside the west gate of the tower's Palette Pool and Steamboat Willie Splash Area. The grills are heated by natural gas. You may borrow utensils from one of the Cast Members stationed in the community area of the first floor of the tower. As I mentioned, you may get to the grills through the gate at the far west end of the pool area, near the Garden Rooms. But if you are already inside the Discovery Tower, another way to get to the grills is by exiting the building from the second floor of the west wing, then walking down the stairs near the grills. Use of the grills is on a first-come basis.

I hope you enjoy The Villas at Disneyland Hotel as much as my family and I do, Angela. When we first heard about the Villas opening a few years ago, we were excited to learn more about becoming Disney Vacation Club members and having the opportunity to effectively own a small piece of our favorite of the Disneyland Resort Hotels. Since becoming members with our home resort right there where it all started, we've treasured each visit to "our other home." So far, our only regret is not purchasing even more points to allow us to stay there more often each year!

Have a magical vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth, Angela!
