Hi Tracey! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Less than two weeks away from your trip! You must be so excited about all the wonderful experiences you have lined up! March is an amazing time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. Spring is on the horizon, which means the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom. Make sure to check out all of the beautiful topiaries lined throughout the park. It's truly a masterpiece that Disney assembles each year for this festival.
Both
Disney's Boardwalk Inn and
Disney's Boardwalk Villas are easily my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World. The view of Crescent Lake and the surrounding resorts is breathtaking. I love all of the activities happening on
Disney's Boardwalk and the outstanding dining just steps from your room. The location is unmatched with the accessibility to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT and the various transportation methods to
Disney's Hollywood Studios. You have countless options at your fingertips!
One of the greatest perks to staying at a Disney Resorts hotel is that your benefits start the morning of your check-in day. You can park your car at your resort that morning, and then take Disney transportation to the theme park you are visiting. You can also leave your luggage with
Bell Services upon arrival. That way when you arrive back at your resort, your car is already parked and you can head straight to your room. Once there, give a call to Bell Services and they will bring your luggage directly to your room.
As long as you have a
park ticket and have made a
park reservation to the park you are visiting for that day, you can take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry. This perk is offered to anyone staying in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel (or other select hotels) and allows you to enter the park 30 minutes before the official park opening. If you plan on arriving at Walt Disney World early on March 16th, then you have a great opportunity to beat the crowds and fit in a few extra attractions before other Guests arrive.
In addition to everything already mentioned, you'll also have complete access to the amenities and recreation available at your resort. If you decide to relax at the pool after a morning at the parks, you can do so prior to your room officially being ready.
Tracey, I hope you have a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
See ya real soon!
