Hello If you are staying at a Villa is there some type of market available in the resort for food items such as meats ,eggs, canned beverages. we will be coming without transportation and really don't want to rent a car

    Hi Jo Ann,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I love that Disney Vacation Club Villas offer kitchenettes in the deluxe studios and full kitchens in the one-, two-, or three-bedroom villas.  My family and I tend to eat many meals in our villa when we are on vacation.  I love the convenience of having a quick breakfast in the villa and then heading out into a theme park!

There are a few options for you to get groceries while staying at Walt Disney World.  First, yes, the Disney Vacation Club resort properties have stores on-site where you can get some basic groceries.  At these stores you can pick up a limited selection of items such as milk and eggs.  While these stores have the basics, the selection is not as large as at a typical grocery store.

If you are a Disney Vacation Club member, you can have groceries delivered through Disney Vacation Club.  To arrange this, visit the Disney Vacation Club Member website.  Click the tab for "Vacation Planning" and choose "Pre-Arrival Checklist."  From there, you can select "Order Groceries," choose your resort, and fill out the grocery form.  Please note that this form must be faxed or mailed to your resort at least three business days prior to your check-in.  Another option is to visit the unofficial site gardengrocer.com.  This site allows you to choose your groceries online and then have them delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Jo Ann.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
