We are staying in a 1BR Villa @ KV...are we eligible to take part in the Sunrise Safari Tour? 3 boys (6, 8, 10)...any suggestions on something similar we might do if we aren't eligible for this one??? Thanks - love the panel!

Hi Mindy!  I am sorry to say that the Sunrise Safari Breakfast Adventure is only available to the concierge guests of the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This tour happens on Sunday and Thursday early mornings only.

There is another option for you to consider. The Wanyama Safari and Dinner is available to Animal Kingdom Lodge and Villa guests. You can read more about this opportunity by going to these sites. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/wanyama-safari-resort-tour/ and http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2010/08/exploring-the-wanyama-safari-at-disney%E2%80%99s-animal-kingdom-lodge/

This tour would work for all but the youngest as the minimum age is 8. It is hard to find animal experiences for the younger ages since dealing with animals requires special behaviors from the human ones! Beyond the regular park safari ride or the animals at Rafiki Planet Watch in the Animal Kingdom park your youngest just doesn't have options.  It is hard to make choices when you have age ranges with the children. You could take the older two on this activity and then find another special activity for the youngest to enjoy just for himself such as Pirates League during your Disney stay.  Keeping everyone from being disappointed during vacation is important but probably not possible to the full extent. But at least at Disney there is a lot of magic to experience for all!
