Mom And Daughter Horseback Riding Excursion

    Staying in 2BR villa at AKL KV. My husband has several health issues that make walking/standing for excessive periods difficult and damaging for his body. Where should we request a room to ease the walking to pool/busses. He won't use an EVC. Thank you

    Howdy Julie!  I spoke with Cast Members at both Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village as well as Disney Vacation Club Member Services.

    I was told by both that rather than selecting a specific area, you should contact Member Services and ask them to add a note to your reservation requesting a room with the easiest access to pool, lobby, busses, etc.  By making the request more general, you will have a better opportunity to have a room assigned that will best fit your needs.

    A day or two prior to your check-in date, I would also recommend that you contact Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village directly and ensure that your request is noted.  The phone number is (407) 938-7400.

    There are a variety of services for Guests with disabilities at Walt Disney World Resort that you might find helpful.
