    Hi, we are staying at Vero Beach the last week of June. I was wondering if the resort did anything special for the 4th of July?

    Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. A trip to Disney's Vero Beach Resort sounds wonderful! What a great way to spend some time relaxing in the sunshine.

    I called and spoke with a cast member at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, and she let me know that in the past there have been some family-friendly activities at the resort for July 4th, such as a barbecue at the pool area and a watermelon eating contest. These are more low-key, and you can find information about them or any other special activities when you check in to the resort.

    You will be at the resort during the right season to participate in activities regarding sea turtle conservation, so do look into participating in that, as well as perusing the other great recreation options at Disney's Vero Beach Resort. Options at this resort include a spa, miniature golf, and bicycle rentals.
