Disney's Vero Beach Resort is a hidden gem - it's a perfect spot for a beach vacation, with some magical Disney touches around every corner. And of course, its location makes it easy to tack on some time at
Walt Disney World Resort, too! A back-to-back vacation requires some serious logistics, so let's talk about your question and get your (Donald) ducks in a row.
I spoke with Cast Members at both Vero Beach and Walt Disney World about the always-popular refillable mugs and what to do for a stay that involves both locations. Unfortunately, you cannot get your mug in advance at Vero, as it's connected to your reservation at
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort. You can purchase mugs at Vero, and those will be active for 14 days from the first usage - which would likely include your dates in Orlando. However, there is no way to receive a credit for the mugs included with your Walt Disney World
dining plan.
Christopher, the rooms and villas at Vero all offer a refrigerator (mini or full-sized, depending on room type) for Guests. You can purchase your preferred beverages at a local grocery store and stock them in the fridge - I usually bring my own cup so I can enjoy a cold soda or take my coffee to-go! There are also water bottle fillers so you can stay hydrated during hot days on the beach.
