We are staying at a value resort. We would like to see/tour the other resorts. What things can we do at/in the other resorts?

    Hi Jackie,

Touring the Walt Disney World resorts is a great idea! My recommendation is to tour a group of resorts with easy access to one another.

You can tour the monorail resorts: Disney's Polynesian Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Getting to all three is as easy as taking the bus from your value resort to the Magic Kingdom, and then hopping on the monorail resort loop, which would take you to all three of these resorts. At Disney's Contemporary Resort I would disembark the monorail at the station and walk around the amazing main concourse there, which includes shops, restaurants, and an amazing stories-tall mural. At the Polynesian, take a walk to the beach.  At the Grand Floridian you could do either of these - walk around the grand lobby of the main building for shops and restaurants, or walk to the lovely beach.

Another idea for deluxe resort touring is to go to the resorts on Crescent Lake. This includes Disney's BoardWalk Inn, Disney's Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts, and the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. To get to this area, I recommend taking a bus from your value resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Then enjoy a relaxing friendship boat ride from Hollywood Studios to any of the resorts above. You can disembark the friendship boats at any of the resorts. I would suggest walking around Crescent Lake, where you will see all of these resorts. As you come to Disney's Yacht and Beach Clubs, you might consider a detour to walk through their lobbies and alongside Stormalong Bay, the amazing pool. Once at Disney's BoardWalk Area, a really fun idea is to rent one of the surrey bikes and pedal around the Crescent Lake loop.  On Disney's BoardWalk you can also enjoy carnival-type games, and if you go at night, there are often live performers such as magicians or unicycle riders on the Boardwalk.

This will be a really fun way to spend part of your vacation!
