Staying at a value resort for the first time. Could you tell me a little bit about All Star Movie Resort? Is it one building? Do we share a bus to the parks with another value resort? Is the food court just for the Movie Resort? Thank You

    Hey Susan-

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. In less than a month you will be at the House of the Mouse getting you magic on!

Disney’s Value Resorts give you all the fun of Disney without an expensive price tag. When you arrive at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort you will enter the main building, Cinema Hall. Cinema Hall houses the front desk and guest services for hotel Guests, arcade, Donald's Double Feature Gifts & Sundries (gift shop) and Wold Premiere Food Court with several cuisine options. There are five different buildings where Guests make “home” during their stay. They are marked by classic Disney movie icons for the movies 101 Dalmatians, Fantasia, Herbie: The Love Bug, The Mighty Ducks and Toy Story. Rooms closest to Cinema Hall and The Mighty Ducks and Fantasia Pools are preferred because of convince to Resort amenities.

Typically, each Disney’s All-Star Resort gets a dedicated bus to transport Guests. However, during times with high crowds (at the end of an evening) or during very low crowds (middle of the week off-season) the bus may stop at multiple Disney’s All-Star Resort hotels.

You may dine at any food court without a reservation because they are Quick Service restaurants. If you want to try two others then head over to Disney’s All-Star Music for Intermission Food Court and Disney’s All-Star Sports for End Zone Food Court. We have always found delicious food for each meal.

Disney Dad Tip: If you have time to visit Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party I highly recommend it. It's during select nights in November and December and is a holiday party not to forget. The cookies and hot chocolate are phenomenal and it snows on Main Street, U.S.A.!

Susan, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
