Hi there, Julie! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad that you've stopped by with your vacation planning question.
Before you know it, you'll be arriving at The Most Magical Place on Earth, excitedly ready to begin your magical adventure! I am SO happy and excited for you, Julie! In my opinion, 10 days is the perfect length of time for a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. You can visit each theme park multiple times, schedule rest and relaxation time, and enjoy some of the
recreation offerings and
Enchanting Extras that Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. If you are anything like me, the snacks, sweet treats, and dining experiences are half the fun, so, let's get you all set to start your planning and booking!
Your ticket purchase information should have come with a confirmation number. Once you have this number handy, log in to your account on the
My Disney Experience website and under your Plans and Tickets, hover over the Park Tickets icon and click the "
Link Tickets" button. Here, you will enter your Confirmation ID Number to link your tickets to your account. Once your tickets are linked, hover over the Park Reservations icon and click the "Make a Park Reservation" button to set up your
Theme Park Pass reservations for each one of your theme park days. Right now, these Disney Park Passes are required for everyone to enter the theme parks, so, this is a planning step you don't want to skip!
Next up is the most important part of a pixie-dusted vacation - the FOOD. Since you are staying in a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you can
book your dining reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before your arrival. Most of your dining reservations can be made on the My Disney Experience website or app at approximately 5:45 a.m. EST 60 days before your check-in date. If I have your correct arrival date, your dining reservation booking window will open on May 2, 2022. Happy booking, and bon appetit!
Since you have a magical 10-day stay planned this summer, I must recommend spending one of your Disney days beating the heat at
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. While these attractions may be wet, the amazing Disney theming, fun, and magic are certainly not watered down. Did you know that you can reserve a
Beachcomber Shack here?! I recently booked one of these amazing Shacks for privacy, shade, comfy seating, cold drinks, and relaxation in between splashing and playing in the water park. I can't wait to enjoy this experience, and I hope you get to enjoy it, too! Just call (407) WDW-PLAY or (407) 939-7529 60 days before your arrival to book! Recently, the very first episode of the planDisney Podcast, where my planDisney panelist pals and I chat all about Typhoon Lagoon FROM Typhoon Lagoon, dropped! I'll link it below so that you can watch or listen at your leisure, and I hope you find the tips and tricks helpful!
Julie, I hope this was helpful, and I hope you have an unforgettable summer vacation, full of fun and pixie dust! Please stop by any time with any vacation planning questions.
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
