Welcome to planDisney, Akeela! It's such an honor to have received your question and have the opportunity to share some advice with you as you plan your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort.
I am so glad to hear that you have secured some dining reservations at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Some of my favorite table service dining locations are there, including
'Ohana and
Kona Cafe! I'm also very happy to share that
standard self-parking is complimentary at Disney Resort Hotels for Guests enjoying select dining, shopping, entertainment, and other experiences on the property. Generally, you will approach the security checkpoint upon arrival at the hotel and let the friendly Cast Member know you are visiting for a dining reservation. They will be happy to direct you to the available parking areas and then you'll be off to enjoy your delightful dining experience!
Akeela, one other recommendation I want to share with you is to check out the
recreation opportunities available while you are visiting for the day at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. When we visited for our dinner reservation at 'Ohana recently, my kids were able to catch part of a Disney film showing out on the Great Ceremonial House Lawn (on select nights). Even though we only watched a few minutes while awaiting the check-in time for our dining reservation, they still talk about
Movies Under the Stars as one of their favorite moments of our vacation! It's the simple things, right?
I hope this has been helpful to you, Akeela. If we can assist with any other questions that come up in the meantime, I hope you'll come back and share them with us here at
planDisney. We'd love to see you again real soon!
Magically yours,
Tishra
