We are staying in two Wilderness Lodge Villa suites in May with two toddlers 2+. One is past the crib age. What type of child bed is available for the "under 3" guests?

    Hi Joseph,

Thank you so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a lovely resort.  The overall feel is rustic and relaxing.

There are a couple of options for children who have outgrown a crib but are still small.  First, bedrails are available upon request and subject to availability at this resort.  You could have your child sleep in one of the adult beds with the bedrails.  To request bedrails for your villa, you can call your travel agent or Disney directly at 407-W-DISNEY (407-934-7639).  If you are a Disney Vacation Club member and made the reservation through Disney Vacation Club, you can call them at 1-800-800-9800 to have the request noted. Closer to your vacation, you could also call The Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge directly at 407-824-3200 to have the request noted.

When our daughter was in the stage in between a crib and an adult bed, we would sometimes travel with a small air mattress for her.  There are air mattresses available in child sizes that can travel easily.  We would simply inflate the air mattress and use the blankets and pillows in the villa for her.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Joseph.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do let us know if you have any further questions.
