We are staying in two families but they are separate bookings, can I afford the lunch of one of the people in this family with the DDP?

    Hello Fabiana!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question.

You can use the entitlements on your Disney Dining Plan anyway you want to and in any order, so you can definitely redeem meals for family and friends. When you ask for your bill, just let your server know what meals you will be using the Dining Plan to pay for.

Last year we visited for my daughter's birthday, and we decided that we would pay for our whole family's meal using our Disney Dining Plan entitlements. Our family wasn't even staying at a Disney resort hotel. You can also redeem as many meals as you like in one single transaction at Quick-Service locations. Please note that gratuity is not included with your Dining Plan at most Table-Service locations, so you should prepare for that separately.

One final tip: did you know you can send questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel in Portuguese? We will be glad to assist you in our own language next time you have any questions.

I hope this helps you while planning, and that you have a wonderful visit to the place where dreams come true.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
