Hi there, Jaime!
Welcome back to planDisney! I'm so glad you asked a question about the
Treehouses at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, they are such a unique place to stay while visiting Walt Disney World Resort. My family stayed in a Treehouse a few years ago and my kids still talk about it today! When my planDisney friends began planning for our recent trip, we decided to book the Treehouses so we could have a larger group stay together, try something new and enjoy the space (inside and outside!).
As
Disney Vacation Club Members, my family loves staying in Villas as they feel like a home away from home. Access to a Full Kitchen and laundry makes travel logistics much easier, especially when traveling with kids. We tend to start our day with breakfast in the Villa so we can head out and get our day started early without worrying about picking up food somewhere. For those spending more time at the resort, the kitchen and grills make it easy to bring your travel party together around a meal.
If you're looking to take advantage of outdoor cooking, you'll need to purchase charcoal for the grill. Each Treehouse has its own charcoal grill (and cooking utensils in the kitchen) and is located at the base of the Treehouse. Guests may purchase charcoal offsite or head over to The Artist's Palette shop (attached to the Carriage House) for charcoal and other grilling supplies.
I hope you have a wonderful stay at the Treehouses at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, Jaime. A tip for you: if your Treehouse is close to the walkway to Saratoga Springs, it is much faster to walk to the Grandstand bus stop than to take the internal bus. My friends and I tested out both routes and walking to the Grandstand was significantly faster from our Treehouse.

Welcome Home,
