We are staying at a timeshare, & would like to know if we could park @ Downtown Disney & commute everyday from there. We are a group of 11 & have all ages?

    Hi Connie!

I don't recommend parking at Downtown Disney and then commuting somewhere else via Disney Transportation for a couple of reasons:
    • In my opinion, parking there has become increasingly difficult over the years and the parking lots should only be used by guests actually visiting Downtown Disney
    • Parking there and then trying to get to a theme park at Walt Disney World is very time consuming.  There are no direct buses from Downtown Disney to the theme parks.
If you park at Downtown Disney and want to go somewhere else, you will need to first go to a resort hotel.  From there you can transfer to another bus going to where you want to go.  That's a very inefficient way to travel and could require on average over 60 minutes of waiting and traveling via a bus when you probably could have driven yourself in 15 minutes.  At park closings, the 60 minute average could easily be much higher.

    Have a magical vacation!
