We are staying with our three boys 6, 8 and 10 in a cars family suite feb 4 for a week. How are the crowds typically then? The weather? Been finding conflicting answers online. Thanks!

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'll do my best to help you.

We find that late January and early February are usually some of the least crowded times of the entire year at the Walt Disney World Resort. My family almost always tries to get in a short trip during that period between the Martin Luther King Jr. long weekend and the Presidents Day long weekend.

The weather can be a little tricky to predict then, however. Early February averages highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s, but it is not impossible to see some of the coldest temps of the year here in Central Florida around that time. ("Cold" translates to highs in the upper 40s, which may or may not be your definition of cold, depending on where you live).

Or it can be warmer. This year, temps spiked into the 80s during that period.

Either way, if you plan to dress in layers, you should find the mild days comfortable. And the pools are heated year-round.

I hope that's useful. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
