Hey Benjamin, welcome to planDisney!
I just spent some time at the beautiful
Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows last week and even stayed in a room with a Theme Park View. When planning our vacations, my family usually narrows down our Disney Resort options to one or two choices, but our final selection is often determined by whether or not we can see
Happily Ever After or the
Electrical Water Pageant!
The
theme park view rooms at the Island Tower are described as having views of Magic Kingdom Park and Seven Seas Lagoon, so I can’t say exactly what your view of Happily Ever After will be. However, I can confirm that we were able to hear the Happily Ever After soundtrack clearly from our balcony as it played through speakers near the beach. If you’re looking for a different vantage point of the nighttime entertainment, Guests of the Island Tower can also access
4 tropical terraces, two of which offer views of Magic Kingdom fireworks. I recommend arriving early as seating may be limited. You can also venture down to the shore of Seven Seas Lagoon, where you can find several seating options. And if you make your way closer to the Great Ceremonial House, you can pick up a DOLE Whip from
Pineapple Lanai!
Here's something new I learned on my visit, Benjamin. Our room had a “
Hey, Disney!” device in the main living area. My kids loved setting alarms for character wake-ups and listening to Disney jokes. No one likes the last day of a Disney vacation, but before you leave, make sure you say, “Hey Disney, it’s our last day.” The response was a sweet message from some friendly characters, with some extra encouragement to book our next Disney vacation!
Enjoy your stay at the Island Tower, Benjamin! If you have any more questions, please come back and see us again at
