Hi Tara,
Welcome back to planDisney! Oh my goodness, this question went straight to my heart. I'm also counting down the days to a stay at
Disney’s Contemporary Resort in a Theme Park View room with my own neuro-spicy kiddo, and believe me when I say… this exact scenario was one of the reasons I picked it, too. Watching the fireworks together in a way that feels safe, calm, and full of magic was one of the biggest reasons I chose this resort. I hope you're as excited as I am!!
I actually chatted with a Cast Member to double-check the latest info, and as of right now, you can hear the
Magic Kingdom fireworks music right from your room by tuning your TV to a special in-room channel. For Guests staying in the Garden Wing or Main Tower, you’ll want Channel 72, and if you’re staying in Bay Lake Tower, it’s Channel 105. The soundtrack is beautifully synced with the fireworks so you can experience the full show from your balcony or window. No crowds, no sensory overload, just magic on your terms.
Tara, I know how much it means to give our kiddos moments like this—moments that feel big and gentle at the same time. I hope when the sky lights up and the music swells, your heart is just as full as mine will be!
If you need any tips for navigating the parks with your youngest (including sensory-friendly spaces, pacing tools, or how to use the
Disability Access Service), I’m always here.
Sending you all the good vibes and fireworks sparkle in advance. You’ve got this, and I’m cheering you on from just a few floors away.
Wishing you the most incredible
Happily Ever After,
Emille
