Hey Howdy Hey Jessica and welcome to planDisney!
Jessica, I love your strategy, staying onsite at Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and taking advantage of Early Theme Park Entry for Magic Kingdom is so key. You will be able to do and experience so much having access to the parks with fewer Guests allowed in the parks. One of the big questions is always when to expect Disney Resort Transportation. Not to worry, you've got a friend in me to let you in on the details!
Disney Resort Transportation including boats, Skyliner and monorail will start running 45 minutes before the park opens and 1 hour after the park closes. This, of course, is relative to any special extras that may open the park early as well as keep the park open later. With
Early Theme Park Entry, if Magic Kingdom were to open at 8:00 a.m. EST then you will be allowed in at 7:30 a.m. EST. This means that resort transportation will start running at 6:45 a.m. EST to give ample time for Guests staying onsite to get to the parks to take advantage of this benefit.
One tip I have for you as you continue to plan for your upcoming trip involves sequencing your attraction experience. I would try and get all of the attractions in the front portion of the park done first and work your way to the back. Once the park opens to the general public, the areas towards the front of the park will tend to fill up first and areas in the back last. So starting in Adventureland and working towards Frontierland or starting in Tomorrowland and working your way towards Fantasyland will give you a great chance at getting a few more attractions done before the general public is allowed in.
Best of luck as you continue to plan and strategize for your upcoming trip. If you have any further questions please stop back and let us know, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
