Hello, Lindsay! Thank you for visiting us here at planDisney, where Guests like you love to share our knowledge and tips to make your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation incredibly memorable!
The
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel,
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and
Walt Disney World Swan Reserve are all considered to be part of the Deluxe category of
Disney Resorts Collection hotels, which includes benefits such as unique theming,
complimentary theme park parking,
Early Theme Park Entry, and
complimentary transportation. Deluxe Resort Guests also get the added benefit of
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours—how cool!
As a Guest of the Swan Hotel, you can access six pools between the Swan and Dolphin Hotels, including a 3-acre grotto pool, lap, and kiddie pools. Unfortunately, Disney has never allowed pool hopping, but it was loosely enforced. The policy is that the resort pool is reserved for Guests of that resort, and in some cases, Guests will require a Key to the World Card or
MagicBand/MagicBand+ to open the pool gate.
While pool hopping may not be allowed, resort hopping definitely is. My family and I love to explore the various resorts during our non-park days. We like to check out the shopping and dining options while researching to see if a particular resort would interest us for future visits. Resort hopping is how we discovered and fell in love with Disney’s Beach Club Resort. Since you will be nearby, I encourage you to stroll around Disney’s BoardWalk to check out the Boardwalk Inn, Beach Club, and Yacht Club. Give
Crew’s Cup Lounge a shot. Their signature cocktails are a personal favorite!
If you have any other questions about your upcoming visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, come back to planDisney and
ask away!
See you real soon,
Brent
