Family at 2022 Food & Wine Festival; EPCOT

    We are staying at the Swan in October and we are renting a scooter for my elderly father for the first time. Does the accessible Minnie Van accommodate an electric scooter and 4 people total? Does it need to be the portable type?

    October is a practically perfect time to visit Walt Disney World. You’ll find festive Halloween décor and tasty treats, plus my favorite celebration: the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. As a sprinkle of pixie dust, the weather often cooperates, too.

    Great news about getting around! Minnie Van Service can accommodate mobility devices and the rest of your crew. Accessible Minnie Vans seat up to seven Guests total (up to two mobility devices and five additional passengers). To request one, open the Lyft app, enter your destination, and choose “Access. Minnie Van” so the correct vehicle is dispatched. A magical bonus: Minnie Vans often drop you closer to the fun at destinations like Magic Kingdom, saving steps and time.
