Disney's BoardWalk will provide a solid preview. You'll see the peaks of the pyrotechnic portion of the show.
Unfortunately, the music won't be audible from either location, so you can either await the complete in-park experience or stream the songs from the soundtrack on a mobile device. Check out

Last summer, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary with a grown-ups-only getaway to
Disney's Boardwalk Villas. On our arrival night, we were enjoying the evening performers along Disney's BoardWalk and just happened to be in the right spot to catch a glimpse of the fireworks when they started. It wasn't a perfect view, but an after-dinner stroll that included a glimpse of Disney pyrotechnics was a pretty perfect way to kick off our vacation. I wish you an equally enchanting evening!
