Staying at the Swan and Dolphin resort next month for a week and will have my RV (travel trailer). Can I park it in a parking lot for free?

Hi there Stephen, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I'd be happy to assist you today.

My family has enjoyed many stays over the years at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Did you know these resorts sometimes offer special rates to teachers, nurses, and qualified government employees? As two busy teachers, my husband and I appreciate the discount almost as much as the sweet slumber we enjoy on the Heavenly Beds®. Most of all, we love the resorts' convenient and picturesque location on Crescent Lake. EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios are just a stroll away!

Stephen, at both the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel and the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, guests are charged a daily self-parking fee of $27 plus tax (subject to change without notice) for personal vehicles. I spoke with a representative from Guest Services at the resort who shared that recreational vehicles and trailers are permitted in the parking lot, but will likely be subject to a higher fee.

I hope you have a wonderful time on your upcoming Disney adventure! The theme parks and resorts are looking especially festive this time of year, and seasonal snacks are popping up everywhere. Check out this post from the Disney Parks Blog highlighting tasty treats available throughout the holiday season.

Wishing you safe travels and happy holidays!
